On July 13, 2023, Eric DeGroot, Wispact Foundation, visited the Opportunities Development Center in Wisconsin Rapids. While there, he discussed the work of the Opportunity Development Centers (ODC) with Ann Lepak, Director of PR/Fund Development and Julie Strenn, ODC Executive Vice President. The mission of the Opportunity Development Centers is to empower people with disabilities to achieve their work and life goals. ODC is a tremendous organization serving persons with disabilities in a multitude of ways across 13 counties in Wisconsin. The Wispact Foundation grant supported the “Creating with Purpose – Exploring the Arts” program. This ODC program allowed participants to explore, educate and experience the Arts and connect with their community. This is just one example of the many ways the Opportunities Development Centers are serving numerous communities in Wisconsin and the Wispact Foundation is proud to partner with them.
