Governor Tony Evers has appointed Julie Strenn, President of ODC as the Private Provider Representative of the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (BPDD). Strenn will serve for three years with her term expiring July 1, 2025.
BPDD is charged with bringing people together to solve problems, remove barriers and create statewide change for the developmental disability community. For more, see About the WI BPDD.
“I am honored and humbled to be appointed by Governor Evers to serve on the BPDD Board of Directors. In my every day work at ODC, we provide supports so that every person can live their best life. It is important to me to extend this to statewide advocacy,” said Strenn.
Strenn joined ODC in 2019 as Executive Vice President and transitioned to roll of President in 2021. Prior to that, she provided consulting services to ODC from 2015 through 2019. Julie has more than 25 years of experience in long-term care, having worked for provider agencies, managed care organizations, and state and local government agencies.
Julie Strenn is the newly elected Vice Chair of the Wispact Board and presumed Chair for 2023.
